Metronome Go · Privacy Policy

Data and Offline Use

Metronome Go’s core metronome features work offline. The developer does not collect, upload, sell, or share personal data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking services and does not use third-party SDKs. The web versions of the Privacy Policy and App Support open in the system browser.

Microphone Permission

Microphone permission is requested only when you open Record New Sound in Sound and tap the record button. Recording is used only to create a custom beat sound, not for recognition or analysis. Built-in sounds and other metronome features work without this permission. You can revoke microphone access in system Settings at any time.

Local Storage and Deletion

Tempo, meter, sound, volume, haptics, language and appearance preferences, and saved recordings and their names are stored in the app sandbox. The developer does not upload or access this data. You can swipe left on a custom recording in Sound to delete it. Deleting the app completely removes its local app data; the system’s Offload App option keeps documents and data.

System Backups

iOS may include recordings and settings in iCloud or computer backups, depending on your device settings. You and the operating system manage these backups; the developer cannot access them. Deleting a local recording does not remove existing backups. Manage backup copies through your device or computer backup settings.

Children’s Privacy

The developer does not collect personal data from any users, including children.

Policy Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect and consent will be requested where needed.
